Preparation Strategy for IBPS PO 2020 Exam

IBPS has recently released its calendar for 2020-21. It’s very high time for the serious banking aspirants to gear up their preparation with the help of Avision Institute. Syllabus for IBPS PO examination

For the prelims examination there are three sections namely Quant, Reasoning and English. In the Mains examination there are another section that is added with these sections namely General Awareness section. To cover this topic daily reading newspaper is must for the aspirant.

In the final stage of IBPS PO 2020 there is one interview round that students have to go through. Reading newspapers make students aware of the recent topics that are going through.

1.English section-

Vocabulary portion is very important for improving this subject. To improve the vocabulary part students can go through daily newspapers or consult Hindu editorial.

For Mains – Focus more on Reading Comprehension and Para jumbles as they constitute larger portion of this section.

2.Quantitative Aptitude-

Data Interpretation plays a crucial role in this section. Students can expect around 10-15 questions in this section like profit and loss percentage permutation and combination, time and work, time, speed and distance.

Questions based on number series, data sufficiency, and Q1, Q2 are also very important.

3.Reasoning Section-

Puzzles are very much important for both Pre and Mains. New type of questions is to be solved. Critical Reasoning is also very important in this examination. Thorough understanding is very much needed to pass this section.

4. General Awareness and Banking Awareness-

This section is the main for selection because by securing high marks in this section students can get the final selection. For getting good marks in this section students have to cover GK for last 5 to 6 months. Daily news analysis is also very important.

5. Descriptive writing for IBPS PO 2020-

In another section of IBPS PO Mains comprises of descriptive writing that also carries 25 marks. Students have to practice by writing essays and letters covering on current topics.

6. Interview round-

The interview round is the final round for the selection process. Reading and viewing current news is very important to get success in this topic.
