This section contained 25 questions of 50 marks. Questions asked in this section were easy to moderate. 20-22 questions is a good attempt in this section. Some of the topics from which questions were asked from General Intelligence & Reasoning section are Puzzles, Analogies, Coding-Decoding, Matrix, Series, Blood Relations etc.
Questions in the General Awareness section were also not very difficult. A majority of questions were asked from Current Affairs. There were only four to five static GK questions. One of the questions asked from static GK was ‘In which period Thomas Roy came to India?’ A good attempt of this section would be 18-20 questions.
The difficulty level of Quantitative Aptitude section was also easy to moderate as the paper included various questions that were similar to previous years. Questions were not that tricky but a bit calculative. There were many Arithmetic questions asked in the exam. Some of the important topics include Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Simple & Compound Interest and Percentage.
The English Language & Reasoning section of SSC CHSL 2020 exam was again easy to moderate. Questions were included from topics such as Synonyms & Antonyms, Active & Passive Voice, Indirect Speech, Reading Comprehension, Idioms, Phrases and Fill in the Blanks.
