Positive Habits to Inculcate in 2020

Positive Habits to Inculcate in 2020

Master Study Tip 1 – Build a Routine

The first and foremost thing you need to do is to build a routine for yourself. This is the most important aspect when you are preparing for any exam. Routine allows you to locate what are the points or topics you need to cover for your exams. It is a road map to success because amidst exam pressure you tend to forget important things.

Master Study Tip 2 – Exercise daily

A healthy body is very necessary for a healthy mind. It has been proved time and again that exercise helps in developing a positive mindset and a fresh approach towards studies. Imagine you wake up tired how can you concentrate on studies. So, fit your exercise around your revision timetable, and find what works for you.

Master Study Tip 3 – Sleep on time

Well, this is the most important thing, but we millennials have so much to do in our lives that we breach this thing. You need to allow yourself, 6-7 hours of sleep every night. This will allow your brain to fully function the next day, your concentration levels will remain high and you will have more energy throughout the day. So it will be better if we put our other activities to back front and work towards a healthy mind and body.

Master Study Tip 4 – Wake up early

Starting your day early improves your concentration. In addition to being able to focus on goals and task lists without being interrupted by anyone. Getting up early means that by the time you get to work or school, you’ve had hours to properly acclimate yourself to the day. You’ll be more alert during peak hours as a result. It also helps in grasping and memorizing topics easily. The reason for this could be a more serene atmosphere, fresh mind and no negativity around.

Master Study Tip 5 – Regularity in schedule

Splitting the material into chucks you want to achieve can be very beneficial. Make a schedule accordingly as this is one of the known study tips for the longest time. That way, you can keep track of what you’ve accomplished instead of looking at the big picture and getting overwhelmed. Some exams will be more difficult than others, some you may find easier to study for. Some may be worth more of your grade than others. Make sure to evaluate all of your exams to consider and determine all of the involved factors so you can study and make your schedule accordingly.

Master Study Tip 6 – Respect everyone around you

This can’t be a point to note this is basic etiquette that should be present in you before anything else. See respecting anybody will not cost you anything in-fact it will make you more loved among others. This will help you in finding positivity around yourself and what else is needed for a student.

Master Study Tip 7 – Keep daily, weekly, monthly targets

This is the most fun task according to me, we play a lot of games nowadays where we have to smash targets and reach the next level. This thing needs to be applied to your studies. Just make targets on a daily, weekly or monthly basis for your subjects. And you will be amazed when you will be able to smash those targets. You might not get points but the syllabus will be finished in a fun way.

Master Study Tip 8 – Make notes

Notes are those weapons that help you before exams for revision purposes. Notes are basically a summary of whatever you study in the chapters. And in my opinion, instead of copying others try to make your own personalized notes. It will benefit you in a way that while making them you will learn along.

Master Study Tip 9 – Manage time well

Exam means a limited time to attempt your paper, but many a time it happens that we as a student don’t feel the importance of time management. Due to this many a time, we miss out important things and these minor mistakes blow out to become big blunders at time. So it is very important that we realize the importance of time and thus practice keeping that in mind.

Master Study Tip 10 – Organise study groups with fellow aspirants

Many a time it happens that we term fellow aspirants as our competition which is good. Healthy competition should always exist in between but sometimes we took it too far. Think about it your fellow aspirants are also pursuing the same thing and they could help you in many concepts or topics which might appear difficult to you. Try doing group study as many more topics or relevant problems would come to your notice.

Negative Habits to Avoid in 2020

Master Study Tip 11 – Do not procrastinate

Procrastinating things will not do any good but eventually, lead to harm yourself. Another demerit it causes is that once you Procrastinate things it happens that you might end up with a pile of pending things which is not a good sign for your studies. So just try to avoid this and finish your works on time.

Master Study Tip 12 – Never run from difficult subjects or topics

Chapters that are easy to complete might look alluring and you can master over them in a small time period. But think about things which are easy for you will also be easy for others. But the thing which will help you in standing out of the crowd are those topics which are difficult for all. The other reason for this is the exam authorities also know those glitches and might post more questions from a difficult section to check your knowledge. The best study tip is to give more time to difficult topics, they will definitely boost your performance overall.

Master Study Tip 13 – Not attempting previous year question papers

Previous year question papers are the keys to the exams because they are helpful in showing you the actual paper level. Do not ever leave them because they show you the real picture of what kind of level you can expect in the actual exam. Most of the competitive exam patters are the same as previous year, so attempting previous year papers you will get familiar with the pattern of the paper.

Master Study Tip 14 – Wasting time on mobile phones

There has been a long debate over the topic of whether the mobile phone is good or bad for our generation. There are two arguments one in support and others against. But in a nutshell, you know that these days a mobile phone is a virtual teacher for some but more than that it is a distraction. So it is up to you want which side of it to overpower you.

Master Study Tip 15 – Being a couch potato

The couch potato is not a potato dish it is a name for a person who just sits and wastes time in front of T.V. or your smartphone. This might be the story of many students who think that your goals will be achieved just by sitting and surfing the internet. This world works on a generic principle NO Pain No Gain. That means that you have to take an initiative for yourself no one is going to do that for you. Not even your parents or your siblings so it would be better to leave that slothy attitude and stand up for yourself.

Master Study Tip 16 – Burning out yourself by only studying

We as community support studying but that does not mean that you become a book monster and leave everything else. Researches have proven that from time to time your mind needs small breaks which are important for its refreshment and productivity. Only studying will not let your mind work it will block your creativity and this is not a good sign for your overall mental health. So exercise, take a short break to refresh yourself!

Master Study Tip 17 – Not clearing out your Doubts

Doubts are the roadblocks that don’t allow you to master the topics or chapters you are working on. So this new year makes a resolution that you will stand up against any hurdle that is blocking your road to success. Make a promise to yourself that you will clear all your doubts. Go to your teacher or a fellow student and get them cleared, as there is nothing more harmful than incomplete knowledge.

Master Study Tip 18 – Goofing around in Class

Although this was the most fun part of school days for most of you it can be very harmful to important subjects. Goofing up around will also caste a negative image of you in the eyes of your teachers which is definitely not a good thing for your academics. Have fun but do not let it ruin your image and your studies.

Master Study Tip 19 – Do not get crushed under the expectation

Expectations are very important for a student when it comes to his studies. But expectations or confidence should always be determined after self-analysis. Self-analysis will show you your current worth or value and thus you can know what you are capable of. Another thing is that it’s good to work for others or your own expectations. But being crushed under those expectations is not always benefiting because each of us is different from others. Do not let the exam stress get to you.

Master Study Tip 20 – Do not breed negative thoughts

Just do not ever let negative thoughts bother you or overpower your mind. There are many times when our expectations. Success and failures are two aspects of life sometimes you have sweet experience sometimes bitter experience. Always approach a friend or a family member whenever you are surrounded by negative energy. Remember a student is also a warrior and warriors never flee from the battlefield if they want to win the war.
