Vashistha Narayan Singh challenged Einstein’s theory of relativity. Vashistha Narayan moved to America in 1965. He did his PhD from the University of California in 1969. He was also an associate professor at the University of Washington.

The Election Commission of India has announced that the bypolls to two Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh & Karnataka will be held on December 12, 2019. The counting of votes will be held on the same day after the polling concludes in the assemblies.

Bypolls means a by-election, also spelled bye-election is an election used to fill an office that has become vacant between general elections.
