Chhapaak is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by her as well as Deepika Padukone in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. It is Based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal and was theatrically released on 10 January 2020.

Harmanpreet Kaur has been appointed as the skipper of the Indian women’s cricket team for the upcoming ICC World T20 which will be played in Australia in February. Along with Harmanpreet, Smriti Mandhana has been appointed as the vice-captain of the side. Mithali Raj, the veteran of the Indian women’s cricket team, had announced her Twenty20 retirement in September 2019 and the squad sees no major changes. The squad sees the inclusion of 15-year-old Shafali Verma from Haryana and 21-year-old Harleen Deol.

The first Cyber Crime Prevention Unit of India “AASHVAST” launched in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The AASHVAST project will act as a helpline for the cyber crime victims. The project will provide cyber-security solution to the common people of Gujarat provided by Gujarat Police.

China has launched a driverless bullet train with world’s fastest speeds up to 350 Kmph

Ahead of 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, China has launched a driverless bullet train with world’s fastest speeds up to 350 Kmph. The train will connect China capital Beijing to Zhangjiakou. As reported by CNN Travel, this new addition of high-speed driverless smart bullet train will cut short the travel time for a 108-mile (around 174 km) journey from three hours to just 47 minutes.

Madhya Pradesh continued to be the state with the highest number of rape cases registered

As per the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report released on Wednesday Madhya Pradesh continued to be the state with the highest number of rape cases registered in the country for the third consecutive year in 2018. In 2016 and 2017 also, the state had topped the chart in terms of the number of rape cases.

Kohli took just 196 innings to cross the milestone of 11,000 international runs

Indian captain Virat Kohli shattered yet another batting record, becoming the fastest to notch 11,000 runs as captain in international cricket. Kohli took just 196 innings to cross the milestone. Another players like  Australia’s World Cup winning captain Ricky Ponting took 252 innings and now Cricket South Africa (CSA) director Graeme Smith took 264 innings. While, Allan Border, fourth on the list, took 316 innings to reach the milestone, former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had done it in 324.

National Youth Festival 2020 begins at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh

National Youth Festival 2020 begins at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. On the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, 23rd National Youth Festival 2020 started with a grand inauguration ceremony in Lucknow.

This is a five day festival started from 12th January and will be continue till 16th January.
