Amul company to sponsor Afghanistan in Cricket World Cup 2019

Amul announced to sponsor Afghanistan team in upcoming World Cup 2019 which will be held in England and Wales from May 30, 2019.  Amul’s logo will be visible on the leading arm of jerseys of the Afghanistan players in an international match and also in training kit throughout the world cup. Earlier in only two instances, Amul sponsored any cricket team in World Cup tournament. These two countries are New Zealand and Holland

ISF India plans to add 3 million tech jobs by 2023

Indian Staffing Federation (ISF), the apex body for the flexi working industry said that the Indian tech industry will add another three million new jobs in the next five years. With the additions, the size of the country’s tech army will be 7 million by 2023.

Experimental device generates electricity from the coldness of the universe for the first time

Scientists from Stanford University, Shanhui Fan along with Masashi Ono have demonstrated for the first time that it is possible to produce a measurable amount of electricity in an infrared photodiode from the coldness of the universe.The infrared semiconductor uses the temperature difference between Space and Earth to produce the electricity.

Taiwan plans to strengthen ties with Indias new government

Taiwan plans to strengthen ties with India’s new government, including more official visits despite China’s continuing efforts to isolate what it considers to be a wayward province. After India’s general election results on May 23, the two countries will strengthen trade and cultural ties. The centre in the Indian capital operates as a de facto embassy, helping Indian and Taiwanese companies to expand business ties and easing discreet dialogue between government officials.

Reliance Brands signs to buy out Hamleys for 68 million euros

Reliance Brands, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL), has signed a definitive agreement with C Banner International, a Hong Kong-listed company. The aim is to acquire 100% shares of centuries-old British toy retailer Hamleys for £68 million.
