Directions (1-5): In each questions below, a Theme has been given followed by two passage. You have to determine which passage is based on the given theme and mark it as your option. More than one passage can be based or not based on the given theme that is highlighted in bold.

 1. Do celebrities get away with more crime than non-celebrities?
a. Celebrities are hardly apprehensive of their image being tanned under their deeds when they are exposed in public. Even if they are sent on probation for years, they are more than usually out before the term ends and their life also resorts back to normal soon after which is not possible for a common man who would be bankrupt with a threat to his image and job due to name tanning in such cases. The larger than life sized ego of celebrities would take pride in doing whatever they do and there is no threat to their fame.
b. Law comes above everything and everyone. Even celebrities with immense power and resources have to deal with cases that last forever. Even when they are in their death bed, some of them have to be present for their case hearing just like a normal person would. In the case of Sanjay Dutt, we saw that he had to live behind bars just like a normal person would have to until the administration got impressed by his good work and decided to grant bail early.

Peer pressure can influence us in more ways than on .It can affect the academic performance of students, their fashion choices, it can lead to alcohol and drug use or befriending people out of compulsion.
b. If you are fortunate to get a good peer group, your peers can play a vital role in the shaping of your personality. You can get motivated by those who have similar aspirations and goals as you ! Their way of looking at life may influence you to change for betterment. Some of your peers are your close friends, who do not pressurize you to do things but rather inspire you to change yourself. 3. How India is about to manage water crisis?
a. Current crisis is a man-made and didn’t happen only due to what is told. Our policies in last couple of decades lead to the current predicament, which unlike the tsunamis (immediate effects) affects slowly. Paradoxically, there ain’t any shortage of water but the sheer mismanagement by the authorities has dessicated the state. The State authority is trying to deal with the crisis and curb the wastage of water but the situation is abysmal and will only worsen until some regulations are made for the long run.
b. Formation of more water reservoirs. Making people aware about the crop which should be cultivated in their areas. (Sugarcane cultivation is good in the areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh the Ganges flow through there.) Formation of water canals from high rainfall areas to low rainfall areas. (Even though it may cost a lot of money but it would be only one time investment.)
