SSC CPO full form is Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organisation and SSC conducts this examination to recruit for Police Department under the Central Government for posts such as Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces and Assistant Sub Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force.

SSC CPO Eligibility

Age Limit: Age limit of the candidates should be from 20 to 25 years as on 01-01-2021 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2001).

 Education Qualification (as on 1-1-2021): Education Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

SSC CPO Pay Scale

  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400- 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group “B” (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.
  • Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/ Female) in Delhi Police: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group “C” (Non-Gazetted) by Delhi Police.

SSC CPO Selection Process 2020

The selection process for SSC CPO 2020 exam consists of 4 stages as given below:

  1. SSC CPO Paper I
  2. SSC CPO PET/PST
  3. SSC CPO Paper 2
  4. SSC CPO Medical Examination

SSC CPO Exam Pattern- Paper 1

The exam pattern for the first stage i.e. Paper 1 comprises of 4 sections with 50 questions each. The total marks allotted are 200. The time given to the candidates would be 2 hours.
