  • Antonyms: Democratic, generous, liberal, benevolent,
  • Usage: A repressive regime.

3. Ample (Adjective)-

  • Definition: enough or more than enough; plentiful.
  • Synonyms: enough, sufficient, adequate, plenty of
  • Antonyms: insufficient, Inadequate, not sufficient, poorly, scanty, sparing
  • Usage: “there is ample time for discussion”

4. Acquittal (Noun)-

  • Definition: A judgement or verdict that a person is not guilty of the crime with which they have been charged
  • Synonyms: Absolution, Clearing, Exoneration
  • Antonyms: Conviction
  • Usage: Witnesses turning hostile is a major reason for most acquittals.
