1.Clunker (noun)= A dilapidated vehicle or machine.

  • Synonyms= Crate, flop
  • Antonyms= Well, anew
  • Usage= The shady car salesman tried to sell the couple a clunker that was barely running.

2.Rebate (noun)= A partial refund to someone who has paid too much for tax, rent or a utility.

  • Synonyms= Repayment, discount
  • Antonyms= Penalty, fine

3.Persuade (verb)= Induce (someone) to do something through reasoning or argument.

4.Gestation (noun)= The development of something over a period of time.

7.Gregarious (adj)= Social

  • Antonyms= Unsociable, reserved

8.Castigate (verb)= Reprimand
