  1. ESOTERIC (Adjective)
    Meaning: mysterious, obscure, known about or understood by very few people.
    Synonyms: abstruse, mystical
    Antonyms: common, familiar
    Example: Eric made an esoteric joke that only he and his brother understood.
  2. CONJOIN (Verb)
    Meaning: join; combine.
    Synonyms: adjin, affix, associate, bind.
    Antonyms: detach, disconnect, disjoin.
    Example: Wedding ceremonies serve to conjoin two separate families.
  3. STASH (Verb)
    Meaning: store (something) safely in a hidden or secret place.

  10. MISGIVING (Noun)
    Meaning: a feeling of doubt or apprehension about the outcome or consequences of something.
    Synonyms: qualm, doubt, reservation, scruple.
    Antonyms: assurance, belief, credence, certitude.
    Usage: James overlooked his misgiving about the new job because he really needed to pay his rent.
  11. IDIOMS
    A SANDWICH SHORT OF A PICNIC
    Meaning: A humorous way of saying someone is stupid or is a bit mad
    Sentence: He brought only shorts and t-shirts when he went to Sweden in the winter – I think he might be a sandwich short of a picnic!

    A STONE’S THROW
    Meaning: Something is very close or near
    Sentence: Luckily the wedding is just a stone’s throw from our hotel so we can walk there.

    A BLESSING IN DISGUISE
    Meaning: Something that appears bad at first but ends up having good results.
    Sentence: Missing that plane turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I got to spend more time with my family.
