    Meaning: Used in a context to describe a statement that is very generalized and doesn’t take into account any facts or logic.
    Sentence: It’s not correct to completely rely on news channels these days. They all make sweeping statements to gain TRPs.

    Meaning: Used to describe a person who praises and brags a lot about his own achievement
    Sentence: Katrina always brags a lot about her success. She constantly keeps blowing her own
