  1. WOO (Verb)
    Meaning: seek the favor, support, or custom of.
    Synonyms: chase, pursue, ingratiate,
    Antonyms: deter, affront, repulse, reject.
    Usage: The party has been trying to woo the voters with promises of electoral reform.
  2. BRAZEN (Adjective)
    Meaning: obvious, bold and without shame.
    Synonyms: blatant, bold
    Antonyms: humble, meek
    Usage: In a brazen assault, the gang fired their weapons at the policeman.
  3. MALAPERT (Adjective)
    Meaning: boldly disrespectful; impudent.

    CLOTHING IDIOM
    Meaning: the breadwinner and who is able to order family members around.
    Usage: The wife clearly wears the pants in her family. She earns much more than her husband and tells him what to do all the time.
