  1. AUTONOMOUS (Adjective)
    Meaning: independent and having the power to make your own decisions.
    Synonyms: self- governing, sovereign
    Antonyms: dependent, subservient
    Example: The company’s divisions, which have been largely autonomous up to now, will be centralized under the newly appointed CEO.
  2. CULMINATE (Verb)
    Meaning: to have as a result or be the final result of a process
    Synonyms: conclude, climax
    Antonyms: begin, commence
    Example: My arguments with the boss got worse and worse, and finally culminated in my resignation.
  3. AFFILIATE (Verb)
    Meaning: to cause a group to become part of or form a close relationship with another, usually larger, group, or organization

    “cry over spilled milk”
    FOOD IDIOM
    Meaning: get upset over something insignificant or about something irreversible.
    Usage: I know you forgot your phone, but there is no need to cry over spilt milk. You can live without it for an hour.
