  1. PURLOIN (verb)
    Meaning: steal (something).
    Synonyms: loot, pilfer, steal, embezzle.
    Antonyms: bestow, contribute, donate, purchase.
    Example: Sometimes it’s impossible to not purloin an excerpt from another person’s blog.
  2. GLOAT (Verb)
    Meaning: dwell on one’s own success or another’s misfortune with smugness or malignant pleasure.
    Synonyms: exult, rejoice, relish
    Antonyms: commiserate, sympathize
    Example: If you are the winner of a contest, you should not gloat and make your competitors feel inferior.

    Meaning: not capable of being imagined or grasped mentally; unbelievable.
    Synonyms: implausible, improbable, incredible, incogitable.
    Antonyms: plausible, reasonable, tenable,conceivable.
    Example: When I looked at my outrageous hospital bill, I blinked at the inconceivable amount.
  9. DILATORY (adjective)
    Meaning: slow to act
    Synonyms: sluggish, slothful, lax, slack.
    Antonyms: fast, prompt, brisk, quick.
    Example: They were dilatory in providing the researchers with information.
  10. ABYSMAL (ADJECTIVE)
