SOVEREIGN (NOUN) : अधिपति

Meaning: a supreme ruler, especially a monarch.

Synonyms: autonomous, unlimited, ascendant, chief, imperial

Antonyms: dependent, limited, restricted, minor, secondary

Example: Rumi-naui himself enters and receives the thanks of his sovereign.

 

DEVASTATE (VERB): उजाड़ना

Meaning: destroy or ruin.

Synonyms: ravage, raze, ruin, wreck, desecrate

Antonyms: build, construct, create, guard

Example: The gale hurried on to devastate fresh fields and pastures new

 

RHETORIC (NOUN) : वक्रपटुता

Meaning : using language effectively to please or persuade

Synonyms: bombast, fustian, gas, grandiloquence, hot air, oratory, verbiage, wind

Antonyms: eloquent, well-spoken Example: Devices of rhetoric are used to bring imagery to writing

eaning: capable of being known

Synonyms: appreciable, audible, detectable, discernible, distinct.

Antonyms: hidden,imperceptible, indistinct, obscure

Example: They are cognizable by the admiralty court, according to locality

 

TACITURN(ADJECTIVE) : अल्पभाषी

Meaning: tending to be quiet, not speaking frequently.

Synonym: closemouthed, laconic, untalkative, uncommunicative, reticent, reserved.

Antonym: chatty, garrulous, blabby, talkative, loquacious

Sentence: He is somewhat taciturn young man.

 

EVACUATION (NOUN): तनकास

Meaning: the action of emptying the bowels or another bodily organ.

Synonyms: expulsion, clearing, discharge, emptying

Antonyms: allow, come, continue, hold

Example: An amusing aftermath of the evacuation by the French and Irish Divisions.
