1. dogged (adjective) – हठी, दृढ़
Pronunciation:
 do-gid
Meaning: having or showing determination and serious persistence
Synonyms: tenacious, determined, resolute, resolved, purposeful, persistent
Antonyms: hesitant, half-hearted
Usage: He achieved success through dogged persistence.

2. grim (adjective) – विकट
Pronunciation: 
grim
Meaning: very serious; causing depression; (especially of a place) unattractive or forbidding; unrelentingly harsh
Synonyms: stern, forbidding, uninviting; dreadful, dire, ghastly, horrible; bleak, dreary, dismal, dingy; merciless, cruel, ruthless, pitiless, savage, vicious
Antonyms: amiable, pleasant
Usage: The report drew a grim picture of inefficiency and corruption.

3. recrimination (noun) – प्रत्यारोप
Pronunciation:
 ri-krimi-nei-sh(u)n
Meaning: an accusation in response to one from someone else

4. oblige (verb) – बांधना, मजबूर करना

Meaning: overcome (a difficulty or obstacle); stand or be placed on top of
Synonyms: overcome, conquer, get over; top, crown, overtop
Antonyms: be beaten by, be dominated by
Usage: We are fully confident that we can surmount these difficulties.

6. undergo (verb) – गुज़रना, भुगतना, सहना
Pronunciation:
 under-go
Meaning: experience or be subjected to (something, typically something unpleasant)
Synonyms: go through, experience, undertake, face, encounter
Usage: He underwent a life-saving brain operation.

7. harmonious (adjective) – सामंजस्यपूर्ण

Meaning: tuneful; not discordant; forming a pleasing or consistent whole; free from disagreement or dissent
Synonyms: tuneful, melodious, melodic, sweet-sounding, pleasant-sounding; congruous, coordinated, matching, balanced, proportional; friendly, amicable, cordial, amiable, agreeable, congenial
Antonyms: discordant, incongruous, hostile
Usage:
  • A warm and harmonious song accompanied us in our journey.
  • The decor is a harmonious blend of traditional and modern.

8. noxious (adjective) – हानिकारक
Pronunciation:
 nok-shus
Meaning: harmful, poisonous, or very unpleasant
Synonyms: poisonous, toxic, deadly, virulent, harmful, dangerous
Antonyms: innocuous, safe, pleasant
Usage: They were surrounded by the noxious fumes.

9. dubious (adjective) – संदेहात्मक, संदिग्ध
Pronunciation:
 dyu-bi-us
Meaning: hesitating or doubting; not to be relied upon; morally suspect
Synonyms: doubtful, uncertain, unsure; suspicious, suspect, untrustworthy
Antonyms: certain, definite; trustworthy, decisive, clear, definite
Usage: I was rather dubious about the whole idea.

10. bumptious (adjective) – ख़ुद-एतमाद

 bum(p)-shus
Meaning: irritatingly self-assertive; expressing oneself confidently and forcefully

Antonym: self-effacing
