1. ingress (noun) – प्रवेश
Pronunciation: in-gres
Meaning: 
the action or fact of going in or entering; the capacity or right of entrance; an entrance; the unwanted introduction of water, foreign bodies, contaminants, etc
Synonyms: entry, entrance, access, admittance; seepage, leakage, inundation, inrush, intrusion, incursion
Antonyms: egress, exit
Usage:

  • Two large doors offered ingress to the station.
  • The joints are sealed against the ingress of water.

2. uncanny (adjective) – अलौकिक, विलक्षण
Pronunciation: un-kan-ee
Meaning: strange or mysterious, especially in an unsettling way
Synonyms: eerie, unnatural, preternatural, supernatural, unearthly
Antonyms: ordinary, normal, unremarkable
Usage: My best friend Angela has the uncanny ability to know my thoughts before I speak.

3. overdue (adjective) – कालातीत, बीती मियाद का
Pronunciation: over-dyu
Meaning: not having arrived, happened, or been done by the expected time
Synonyms: late, behindhand, delayed, belated, tardy, unpunctual
Antonyms: early, punctual
Usage: The rent was three months overdue.

4. amble (verb, noun) – टहलना
Pronunciation: amb(u)l
Meaning: walk or move at a slow, relaxed pace; a walk at a slow, relaxed pace, especially for pleasure
Synonyms: stroll, saunter, wander
Antonym: stride
Usage:
•    We were ambling along the river bank. (verb)
•    We enjoyed being at peaceful riverside amble. (noun)

5. ingrained (adjective) – दीर्घस्थायी, पक्का, स्थायी
Pronunciation: in-greind
Meaning: (of a habit, belief, or attitude) firmly fixed or established; difficult to change; (of dirt or a stain) deeply embedded and thus difficult to remove
Synonyms: entrenched, established, fixed
Antonyms: transient, superficial
UsageIngrained attitudes and habitual ways of thinking are very difficult to change.

6. stench (noun) – बदबू
Pronunciation: stench
Meaning: a strong and very unpleasant smell
Synonyms: stink, reek, miasma, effluvium
Usage: I can’t bear the stench of rotting fish any more.

7. defiant (adjective) – अवज्ञापूर्ण, उपेक्षापूर्ण
Pronunciation: di-fai-unt
Meaning: showing open resistance; bold disobedience
Synonyms: intransigent, resistant, obstinate, uncooperative, non-compliant, recalcitrant
Antonyms: apologetic, cooperative
Usage: Because Gina is a defiant teenager, she is often called to the principal’s office.

8. utterly (adverb) – बिलकुल, सरासर
Pronunciation: uter-li
Meaning: completely; absolutely
Synonyms: completely, totally, absolutely, entirely, wholly, fully
Antonyms: partly, partially, somewhat
Usage: The shy boy was utterly embarrassed in her presence.

9. protrude (verb) – उभड़ना, बहर निकालना
Pronunciation: prutrood
Meaning: extend beyond or above a surface
Synonyms: jut, project, extend, obtrude, protuberant, bulging
Antonym: sunken
Usage: A handkerchief protruded from his shirt pocket.

10. scorn (verb, noun) – घिन आना, घृणा, तिरस्कार
Pronunciation: sko-rn
Meaning: a feeling and expression of contempt or disdain for someone or something
Synonyms: contempt, derision, sneering, scoffing;     deride, disdain, mock
Antonyms: admiration, respect; admire
Usage:

  • His bad action was scorned by the public. (verb)
  • I do not wish to become an object of scorn. (noun)
