What is the meaning of normalization in SSC- CGL 2018 ?

Dear SSC-CGL Seekers,

All of you must be wondering what  ‘normalization  in SSC- CGL ‘ means? ‘Normalization in SSC- CGL 2018’ is nothing but balancing the marks according to the standard of the question paper. Since SSC- CGL authorities have to prepare 44 different sets of question papers, for students appearing in the examination on different days and in different shifts, it becomes difficult for them to maintain the same level of question paper. So, they had to introduce “normalization in SSC- CGL” which means that if the question paper is comparably more difficult in a particular shift, then marks would be increased proportionately. The chances of decreasing the marks are less and even if they are decreased, very slight decrease will be made.

Best of Luck,
